Le Graspop Metal Meeting est devenu le festival Metal incontournable en Europe. Le Graspop, qui avait battu son record d'affluence en 2007 avec plus de 100.000 entrées, a franchi un nouveau cap en juin 2008, en accueillant plus de 130 000 visiteurs massés sur la prairie de Dessel en Belgique. Cette année, une Zone 24h, accessible juste 6h le matin a été installée.
